Drugstore makeup does NOT mean low quality makeup. In fact, a lot of my favorite makeup is from the drugstore! Here’s my ultimate list of $100 full face of (GOOD!) makeup – the best makeup you can get for the price!
Looking for something a bit less expensive? Check out my full face of makeup for $55!
A lot of these are drug store brands, but some of them are indie or growing brands that are less expensive than high end, yet cannot be found in a drugstore (like my eyeshadow suggestions!). If you’re okay ordering online, I recommend you give them a try, because I find them to be higher quality than drugstore (eyeshadows in particular).
The best place to get makeup for less than retail value is Amazon! You can find makeup for up to half off the retail value you’d pay at the drugstore, which makes it way easier to stretch your dollar. Just make sure the seller is authentic, and you should be good! The exception to this is a lot of e.l.f. Cosmetics products, which are already priced at an awesome value right from the retailer.
Disclaimer, the price for these products has increased since I first wrote this post a couple years ago.
The total amount for all these items (with Amazon prices, not all retail value) is $112! I didn’t include the false lashes in this total, because they are absolutely not necessary for everyday makeup, and the total price has gone up by $16 since early 2019. That said, you’ll still save $16 by purchasing from Amazon, compared to Ulta.
Keep reading to check out all the products. Prices are accurate as of October 27, 2020.
TOUCH IN SOL No Pore Blem Primer
I got this primer in my February 2019 Boxycharm subscription box, and I fell in love with it immediately. This makes my skin look and feel amazing, works great under the recommended foundation in the next category, and even makes your skin look better without foundation! It might not work if your skin is super oily, but if you’re combo or dry like me I definitely suggest trying it out.
L’Oreal Infallible up to 24hr Fresh Wear foundation
Fresh wear is my new FAVORITE foundation from the drugstore. It is buildable, dewy (though it claims to be matte) and looks beautiful and natural. Rose ivory is my shade. I highly recommend!

e.l.f. Cosmetics 16HR Camo Concealer
This stuff is incredible. It is the most full coverage drugstore concealer I’ve ever used, at a FRACTION of the cost of my high end concealer! I recommend blending it out quickly because it dries faster than most of my other concealers, but it’s awesome.

Coty Airspun Translucent Loose Setting Powder
For the price, nothing can beat Airspun! You’ll have to get past the smell of it (think, baby powder & grandma’s perfume) but it performs beautifully.
This powder is translucent, so it should work for a lot of skin tones. There are a few different shades so you can choose a slightly darker one if you have a deeper skin tone; if you have light to medium skin, the normal translucent should work for you.

Taking this guide a step up from the cheapest full face article, I combine two products for my brows: a pencil and a gel.
e.l.f. Cosmetics Instant Lift Brow Pencil:
This is the brow pencil I use every day, I love it. There are 6 shades – if you use me as a shade reference, neutral brown is my perfect match.
e.l.f Cosmetics Wow Brow Gel:
I cannot believe more people aren’t talking about this product! It is AWESOME! It’s relatively new, and is one of my favorites in my natural makeup routine. Check my review of it here.

Physican’s Formula Butter Bronzer
A cult fav, this bronzer is AWESOME and I prefer it to my high end ones.

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
This baked blush, specifically in shade Luminoso, was a beauty community must-have a couple years ago. While it isn’t every beauty guru’s #1 in 2020, it is still a fantastic blush that you should check out.
If you aren’t convinced yet, this is the blush I wore for my wedding day. Really.
Okay, you can’t get this one on Amazon – but it’s worth the additional effort.
Colourpop Super Shock Highlighters
Colourpop’s super shock formulas are incredible. The shadows, blushes, and highlighters are all amazing and beautiful. If you want a blinding highlighter at a low cost, definitely check these out.
This is a super hard product to recommend, because we all have such different tastes in eyeshadows.
When I first wrote this article over a year and a half ago, I recommended a lot of Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palettes. I still think they are a good option, with good prices and an okay formula, so if you want to pick one up from Ulta that is great!
However, my personal eyeshadow palette collection has grown by at least 20 since then (oops!) and I now recommend Colourpop eyeshadows over all over drugstore palettes by far.
I’m going to link a bunch of options for you here. The 9-pan palettes are typically $12, and are an awesome starting point! I recommend picking up a neutral toned palette first, and then work your way into the colorful ones.
NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Matte Liquid Liner
This is a classic liquid eyeliner that a ton of people swear by. I also love the comparable e.l.f. eyeliner, which retails for $3 at Ulta.

L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara
This is one of my all time favorites. I talk about it in my best mascaras for beginners post, but even if you aren’t a beginner I recommend this mascara to you! It is beautiful and the waterproof version is REALLY waterproof. I wore this for my wedding because I knew it wouldn’t budge if I cried, haha!

Ardell Demi Wispies Lashes
I bet a few of you knew I was going to recommend these falsies! Ardell Demi Wispies are my favorites, which I highly recommend for beginners.
These lashes AREN’T included in the final total, though – because lashes are NOT necessary for everyday makeup! If you’d like some, I would recommend these, but they are most certainly not needed.

I know that some people only use setting spray for special occasions, but I use it every day without fail. I use it to set my face, wet shimmery and metallic eyeshadows, and sometimes to prime my face, too.
Wet N Wild Photo Focus Natural Finish Setting Spray
I have personally gone through at least 3 of these setting sprays. They are small (great for travel) and have a beautiful formula for the price!
This is also a hard area to recommend products for! There are so many lip products (liners, lipsticks, glosses) with so many variations (matte, velvet, creme, glitter, metallic, ahhhhh!) that there will be disagreement over what I say.
So, here’s my personal favorite drugstore liquid lipstick! If you want suggestions for more kiss proof lips, I have that too.
Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick
You’ve already heard me talk about these before, but I’ll say it again: these are my favorite. I wore one for my wedding. They are awesome and they just expanded the shade range again! Use thin layers, and pop a gloss on top if you find them drying, and bam it’s awesome again. Love these!
WOW! That was a lot. But getting all of that for around $100 is an awesome deal.
