Sometimes we need inexpensive makeup, and that is totally okay – and it does NOT mean that it has to be low quality! I’ve rounded up the best and cheapest full face of makeup you can get for a low cost in 2020.

Are you to makeup and don’t know where to start?

Maybe you’re putting together a “first makeup kit” for a teenager you know.

Or you’ve used makeup for a long time, but haven’t replaced products in far too long?

Looking for inexpensive drugstore makeup recommendations?

Buying beauty products on a budget? (me too!)

A great tip I can give you is to buy makeup… on Amazon!! Yes, Amazon! They usually have makeup for less than MSRP, sometimes only HALF the cost! Just make sure you are buying from the company or makeup distributor as the seller.

Note: Yes, there is fake makeup on Amazon – but those tend to be expensive, high end dupes! Drugstore makeup is usually okay to shop for online 🙂

The grand total of this FULL face (and I don’t mean 5 products – I mean everything from primer to setting spray!) comes out to under $55. Check it out!

Many variations of this primer are available, such as hydrating, pore filling, and color correcting.

E.L.F. Cosmetics Hydrating Face Primer

Shop at e.l.f. Cosmetics $6 | Amazon $6 (as of October 2020) | Ulta $6

Here are two options with similar prices that are both loved by many. The second option actually has two different finishes in the same line, so there are three foundations here. They both have decent shade ranges (especially Maybelline), fair shades shown because that’s what I wear and have tried.

Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation

Shop at Wet N Wild $6.49 | Amazon $4.98 | Ulta $3.29

Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation

Shop at Amazon $5.34 | Ulta $7.99

L.A. Girl HD Pro Concealer

Shop at Amazon $3.33 | Ulta $3.49

This is a classic, inexpensive concealer that is available in a wide variety of shades. I personally am not the biggest fan of this formula, but a LOT of people love it. A good alternative is e.l.f. 16hr Camo concealer.

Setting Powder

Coty Airspun Translucent Loose Setting Powder

Shop at Amazon $5.97 | Target $5.99

This powder is translucent, so it should work for a lot of skin tones. There are a few different shades so you can choose a slightly darker one if you have a deeper skin tone; if you have light to medium skin, the normal translucent should work for you.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Instant Lift Brow Pencil:

Shop at e.l.f. Cosmetics $2 | Amazon $2 | Ulta $2

This is the brow pencil I use every day, I love it. There are 6 shades – if you use me as a shade reference, neutral brown is my perfect match.

Wet N Wild Color Icon Bronzer

Shop at Wet N Wild $5.49 | Amazon $3.98 | Ulta $5.49

There are a few shades available in this bronzer, which is very affordable. Shoutout as well to the two-toned Wet N Wild MegaGLO Contouring Palette – if you can find this in store somewhere, I would recommend this one as well, but it isn’t being sold at all retailers anymore!

Shop at Wet N Wild $3.49 Amazon $2.99 | Target $2.99

I know, again with the Wet N Wild color icon line – but these blushes are MEGA pigmented and super nice on the skin! I love the peachy shade I have, and I need to pick up the rest of the shades too.

PSA: As of right now (Oct 2020), it looks like the packaging is being changed from the old rectangular packaging to a new circular package. You might be able to find this product on clearance with the old packaging at Ulta, Target, or Walmart!

Wet N Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder

Shop at Wet N Wild $3.49 | Amazon $2.99 | Ulta $5.99

This is one of the drugstore favorites, always sold out in store – for good reason! It is an awesome product.

Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette

Shop at Wet N Wild $5.99 | Amazon $4.98 | Ulta $5.99

You seriously cannot get an eyeshadow (that isn’t a single or just 3 colors) for anything less than $5 at the drugstore – and these ones are actually GOOD and blendable!

These have a good variety of neutral shades, both shimmer and matte, that will let you practice. Rose In The Air in particular is a dupe for ABH’s Modern Renaissance eyeshadow palette.

Shop at NYX $7.50, Amazon $5.62 | Ulta $5.62

This is a classic liquid eyeliner that a ton of people swear by. I also love the comparable e.l.f. eyeliner, which retails for $3 at Ulta.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

Shop at Amazon $4.77 | Ulta 6.99

I just talked about this mascara in my BEST Drugstore Mascaras for Beginners post – it’s one of my all time favs, and it’s so inexpensive!

Honestly, there are SO many lip products out there that are awesome. There are liquid lips, matte lips, velvet lips, lip liners, lip glosses, lip tints, lip blots… you get the idea. Everyone has a personal preference about their FAVORITE lip product (and shades!), so I don’t want to recommend a TON of things. Especially because if you already have any makeup, it’s probably a lipstick!

The least expensive decent lipstick you can buy is a $1 Wet N Wild traditional satin bullet lipstick. The lasting power on those aren’t great, so I highly recommend spending a couple more dollars on a Wet N Wild Liquid Catsuit:

Shop at Wet N Wild  $3.29 | Amazon $2.79 | Ulta $5.49

Setting Spray

I know that some people only use setting spray for special occasions, but I use it every day without fail. I use it to set my face, wet shimmery and metallic eyeshadows, and sometimes to prime my face, too.

Wet N Wild Photo Focus Natural Finish Setting Spray

Shop at Wet N Wild $5.99 | Amazon $4.68 | Ulta $5.99

I have personally gone through at least 3 of these setting sprays. They are small (great for travel) and have a beautiful formula for the price!

And that’s it! That’s a true FULL face of makeup.

If we add up the cheaper option in each category on Amazon, you would spend a grand total of…

$55.08 for a FULL face of GOOD quality makeup!

In my opinion, that is AWESOME. And it truly is the cheapest full face of makeup that you can buy! Most guides like this include 3-5 products for around $50, and there are 13 categories here!

If you were to buy high end products, you could easily spend that much on ONLY one eyeshadow palette or foundation! (Crazy, I know!!)

Good Quality Full face of drugstore makeup - for only $55! This includes everything you need and would be an AWESOME makeup starter set for beginners or teens.

I hope this guide helps give you ideas, and lets you know that you DON’T have to spend a ton of money to get good quality makeup!

Have any other inexpensive favorites that aren’t on this list? I know I do! Let me know your favorite “cheap” but quality makeup in a comment below.
