It’s October, and Halloween is right around the corner. Spooky makeup looks are the norm this month, but you’ll want some SFX supplies to make your wounds look a bit more realistic than red eyeshadow and ketchup. Multifunctional Face Paints
Face paint is a great way to create bold makeup looks. The colors in these flash palettes can be mixed to create the perfect color for whatever look you’re working on!
To apply your face paints, you’ll need some brushes. An inexpensive set of flat brushes in a large variety of sizes is perfect for costume makeup! Check out these brushes if you need some extras. Use dish soap to clean them afterwards to break down the oil!

Fake Blood and Wounds
If you’re trying to be extra spooky with SFX this halloween, you’ll need some serious supplies.
While you could try to use ketchup as fake blood, it won’t stay in place and you’re going to smell like a fast food restaurant. Opt for some super realistic looking fake blood from Mehron instead!
