Norvina, the daughter of Anastasia and the President of beloved makeup brand Anastasia Beverly Hills, is releasing another eyeshadow palette of her own creation: The Norvina Volume 1!

The original Norvina palette was released last year in 2018, and the dedicated Norvina has put her heart into a second palette of her namesake.

Wide range of shades, leaning towards purples (Norvina’s favorite color) and finishes (mattes and shimmers).

The packaging is a gorgeous shade of purple. It looks to be plastic, which is different than most ABH palettes.

Unlike other ABH palettes that are 14 pan and rectangular, the Norvina Volume 1 is a square palette with 25 shades (5 x 5).

On her Instagram stories, Norvina explained that any additional Norvina palettes that will be released in the future will be in the same format as this first Volume palette.

In past Instagram story chats, Norvina has explained how difficult it can be to name eyeshadow shades. She has said that each shade name must be reviewed by a legal team to make sure that it isn’t copyrighted, isn’t used by other companies to avoid conflict, and is often a long process.

Norvina is skipping that process entirely with this release, by using a grid letter and number format to name each shade.

As you can see, there are many mattes and shimmers in this palette! I think there are a good amount of both, creating balance.

There are many purple and pink toned shades, which are Norvina’s favorite colors. However, there is enough variety that you can create a multitude of looks with this single palette!
