Full disclaimer, I have a love-hate relationship with glitter.
I absolutely love the way it looks. I love the sparkles, I love the shimmer, and sometimes I love glowing with a glittery highlighter.
But removing glitter is a nightmare. I highly recommend that you take your time to remove glitter makeup using disposable cotton rounds – while I LOVE using reusable and sustainable materials, you will find glitter in your wash cloths forever if you don’t dispose of it. Even after washing your face multiple times, you’ll still probably find a piece of glitter on your nose 3 days after wearing it.
If you hate finding glitter as much as I do, I recommend the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows the most out of everything on this list. You will get your glitter fix, without the mess!
Glitter Safety Note
Another important thing to consider is glitter safety. Yes, I feel obligated to write a note about the safety of glitter on the top of a gift guide. That’s how important it is.
Makeup or cosmetic grade glitter is safer for use around the eyes than traditional craft glitters. DO NOT use craft glitter on your face, especially anywhere near your eyes. Craft glitter has sharp edges that can cause micro-cuts in your eyes that can lead to eye infections. Seriously.
Even though makeup glitter is safe(r) for use around the eye, please be extremely careful. I personally wouldn’t get any pressed or loose glitter products for anyone under 14-15 to use, because you need to be especially careful when applying and removing the glitter to ensure you do not get any in your eyes.
Please consult your eye doctor if you’re concerned about using glitter makeup, or ever get glitter in your eyes.
That said, glitters are SO fun to use when they are used properly, and are also fun to use in your hair, on your body, and on your cheeks!

Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette
Because of the color scheme, for most people this palette won’t work as a stand-alone palette. If you’re looking for bright colored pressed glitters to add to your already existing collection, this would be a good addition. Look at these colors, though!

Nabla Glitter Palettes
A small but mighty 4-pan palette of only glitter. There are two of these palettes to choose from, so you can pick which shades you prefer!

Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow Gift Ideas
Eyeshadow is one of the easiest ways to incorporate glitter into your makeup routine! If you hate cleaning up glitter for a week after you use it, opt for one of these (or a topper) instead of a pressed or loose glitter. Check out these fantastic glitter eyeshadow gifts.
Stila Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow
While not a traditional powder or pressed eyeshadow formula, nothing can beat the ease and beauty of Stila’s liquid glitters. These apply extremely easily, are very sparkly, and wash off much easier than traditional glitter. Want more info? Check out my review of them here.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow
A more affordable version of the Stila product above, these e.l.f. dupes are very pretty and only $5 each! They won’t look exactly the same as the Stila Glitter and Glows, but they are still worth the money.

Glitter Topper Eyeshadow Gift Ideas
Perfect additions to your eyeshadow collections, these are single-shade pans and pots of glittery eyeshadow formulas. They are meant to be layered on top of other matte or shimmery eyeshadows to give it move dimension and make it pop!
Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow
These small pots contain a unique glittery formula that works as an incredible sparkly eyeshadow topper, giving you an easy way to instantly elevate your eyeshadow look.

Colourpop Pressed Glitter Pans
Instead of a whole palette of glitter, you can buy individual shades from one of my favorite makeup brands, Colourpop! You can also make your own palette full of whichever glitter shades you want.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadows
These aren’t traditional pressed glitters, and NOT ALL SHADES ARE GLITTERY. Did you read that? Read it again! Check and make sure that the shade you want has the level of glitter you’re looking for, and use their “finish” sorting feature when looking.
Several super shock shadow shades are very sparkly, and would be a great eye topper for many eyeshadow looks. Some fan favorites and personal favorites are the shades Ladybird and Frog.
This formula, glitter or not, is one of my favorites. If you don’t have any super shock shadows, you seriously need to try at least ONE.

Loose Glitter Gift Ideas
The most traditional, loose glitter in a little pot. Super shimmery, the most glittery, and also the most messy! Extremely beautiful, though.
NYX Glitter Primer
If you’re purchasing anyone on your list loose glitter, you need to buy them a glitter glue so they can actually apply it! This NYX one is a fan favorite. It is affordable and works as a great base for loose glitter products.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Loose Glitter
Looking for multidimensional, gorgeous glitter from a high end makeup brand? ABH has you covered with their small but mighty selection of loose glitters.
Shop at Sephora
NYX Metallic Glitter
These small containers of glitter are ultra reflective and easy to work with (if you have glitter glue!). They are small, but trust me, you only use a tiny amount with each application – so unless you wear glitter every day, these will last you a very long time!

Glitter Eyeliner Gift Ideas
Perfect for the makeup lover that loves a small pop of glitter! Eyeliners are a great way to add a small amount of sparkle to your eye in a much more controlled (and easy to clean up) way.
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner
If you’re looking for the best glitter eyeliner on the market, this is the one. Beauty gurus swear by this product because it is much more pigmented than other versions, meaning the green glitter eyeliner will actually look opaque green on your eyes instead of a sheer green wash of color.

NYX Glitter Goals Liquid Eyeliner
Another budget friendly glittery product that will allow you to get multiple colors of sparkly eyeliner! I have tried the clear iridescent shade of this product and it is very pretty. I personally found that it stings a little when applied to bare skin (not on top of eyeshadow, though!) but that the stinging fades after it dries in less than 2 minutes.

Glitter Highlighter Gift Ideas
I personally don’t use very sparkly highlighters on my face very often, but there are some gorgeous glittery highlighters on the market!
Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb
It isn’t made of diamonds, but it sparkles like one. This product can be used as a face highlighter, body highlighter, or eyeshadow.

Fenty Beauty Liquid Diamond Bomb Glitter Highlighter
It’s the liquid version of the Diamond Bomb above, and it will make you sparkle fiercely.

Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter
Just like the eyeshadow above, some of the SSH shades don’t have glitter, but some certainly do! These are very bright highlighters that will make you GLOW!

Glitter Setting Spray Gift Ideas
I only have one suggestion, because it’s the best and truly the only one you need!
Iconic London Prep Set Glow Hydrating Spray
If you are looking for an overall spray of glitter all over your face, you won’t be disappointed by this setting spray. I would personally suggest pairing this with a normal setting spray, because let’s be honest, we only want this one for the glitter and not the staying power.
It’s also really really fun to swirl around in the bottle.
