It’s been some time since I posted a makeup look to the blog (months, actually!) and we have a LOT to catch up on. Wearing all blue eyeshadow might feel intimidating, but I’m here letting you know that it can be done – and STILL be cute! Check out this blue makeup look using the Colourpop Blue Moon eyeshadow palette.

Blue Moon Makeup Look
This look was day 1 of my 100 makeup looks challenge, taking place on Instagram. I haven’t finished this challenge yet, but want to share some of my completed looks with you!
My goal was to create makeup looks of all different colors, using many different palettes.
You know how much I love Colourpop palettes, and after receiving a bunch of their 9-pan monochromatic palettes in a giveaway (woohooo!) I KNEW I had to create monochromatic eyeshadow looks to accompany each one.
I completed this blue makeup look using the shades “Moonlight” as a transition shade, “Starry Eyed” in the crease, and “Fine China” to deepen things up.
Then, I popped a mix of “Bille Jean” and “Mad about U” shimmer shades on the inner half of my lid, and “Lumi” in the inner corner/tear duct area of my eye.

To finish it off, I applied some lashes and a bright lip.
I am loving the Ultra Glossy lipsticks (lip…glosses?) from Colourpop. The “Berry Good” Shade I’m wearing in here is so pretty!
Honestly, I was a bit scared of doing an all-blue look. Everyone always jokes about how (bad) blue eyeshadow is how we all start off wearing makeup, and I didn’t want this blue look to be crazy!
For an all blue look, I think this turned out pretty well.
